Award-winning Southern writer Chris McClain Johnson started writing stories as a child, inspired by the beauty and wonders of her family farms in Mayfield, Kentucky. She graduated from Murray State University and lives in Memphis, Tennessee. Her debut epistolary novel Three Guesses is the recipient of Regal House Publishing's 2023 Fugere Book Prize for Finely Crafted Novellas.
