In this book, beloved New Yorker cartoonist Bob Eckstein has gathered the greatest untold stories from 75 of the world's most renowned bookstores and paired them with color illustrations of each shop.

Eckstein requested anecdotes and images from various book stores around the world and created illustrations for each, overlaid with a story.The Burke's page features an illustration of the original storefront on Main Street plus the meet-cute story of the current owners.
