Here's a listing of our cabinetted first editions, which is to say those which have value either in our reference books or in our experience. There are other firsts scattered around the store because space is at a premium. You might want to check Signed Copies at Regular Prices for more recent titles by authors who have been kind enough to visit us. You might also just give us a call or send us an e-mail with a request. We could easily have your favorite Samoan ethnobotanist (or at least his or her books) languishing on the shelf. The abbreviations used to describe condition refer first to the book and then to the dustjacket (dj), so a book described as "VG/VG" will be "Very Good copy in a Very Good dustjacket". A description of what these abbreviations mean can be found in A Short Course in Book Anatomy . If you are interested in something we haven't provided enough information on, then call or e-mail us and we'll happily provide a description.
